Dr. Shana Schroeder was born and raised in a rural community in Maryland. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Loyola College in Baltimore where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with minors in chemistry and economics. She then went on to earn a Masters in Medical Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia. In 2006 she relocated to Florida and obtained her doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After finishing medical school, Dr. Schroeder completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and in Dermatology through the Palm Beach Consortium for Graduate Medical Education. She was chosen as Chief Resident for each of these residencies. Dr. Schroeder is also board certified in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Schroeder enjoys practicing general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She sees patients of all ages and treats a diverse spectrum of skin diseases including skin cancer, psoriasis, rosacea, hyperhidrosis, eczema, and acne. Dr. Schroeder makes it her priority to go the extra mile in the care of her patients. She strives to listen and understand the needs of each patient, educate them on disease processes and procedures, and then come up with a treatment plan together.
